THE LOVE OF LEARNINg
Many of us presume our love of learning but what that often translates to is the reward of being good at something -a retrospective love of accomplishment when, in fact, the actual process of learning something new has been fraught with frustration, perceived failures and insecurity. So at the beginning of a new endeavour, with all its expectation, how do we call in our inspiration and meet its learning curve with humour and humility instead of the dogged pursuit of mastery? Perhaps the application of a less ridged and more experimental approach, with all its highs and lows, can encourage an awareness of the manner in which we learn and adapt physically, mentally and emotionally - even elicit a much enjoyable learning process.
