Autumn flows

Strong winds and rains have ushered in the new season. Traditionally, I favour the transitional periods of autumn and spring, particularly autumn with its natural tendency towards introspection. It's a time where we can re-gather our scattered summer energy and take stock of all we have harvested over the past months. It's also a time of death, of letting go. The leaves are falling from the trees and the flowers are dying back towards the dampened ground and the nights are drawing in. As we too start to turn our gaze inwards, if we know these colder, darker coming months can leave us feeling a bit depleted, we might ask ourselves how do I want to feel in the coming months? And what am I willing to let go of or commit to in order to facilitate this?
